Town Planning Board

What does the planning board do?

The Town Planning Board guides local development by reviewing and giving their recommendations on projects, ensuring that those projects align with community goals for public health, safety, welfare, and orderly growth. They accomplish this by suggesting and reviewing local zoning, reviewing potential business plans, and implementing comprehensive plans. They recommend regulations, review proposals for new developments, and businesses, and do their part to ensure our residents have a beautiful and safe community to call home. 

Planning Board meetings are the fourth Wednesday of every month, and they meet at the Library. 

To get involved, simply attend monthly meetings.
